专家介绍:

刘峰博士毕业于德国多特蒙德工业大学。现就职于德国亚琛工业大学物理学系。主要从事量子光学芯片和量子电子学的基础研究。共在PRL, Nature Nanotechnology, PRB, APL等杂志上发表研究论文13篇。单量子点粒子数反转的工作被PRL评为编辑选择奖,并被Viewpoint of Physics专题报道。

报告内容:

On-chip single-photon sources are key components for integrated photonic quantum technologies. We use a novel experimental technique to demonstrate a record-high Purcell factor for a QD-nanocavity system, enabling coherence close to the radiative limit even in the presence of significant dephasing due to nearby etched surfaces. A waveguide efficiently coupled to the cavity allows our device to function as a near-ideal on-chip, electrically tunable single photon source. High single photon purity and indistinguishability is observed and the brightness is also enhanced by large Purcell effect. This source out-performs all QD-based on-chip single photon sources to date, paving the way for fully integrated quantum photonic devices. In this talk ,I will also talk about the ultrafast optical switch and high-fidelity control of a hole spin/exciton qubit.
